The French niche perfume house Memo Paris was founded by John and Clara Molloy in 2007. The couple discovered a shared love for travel and adventure which inspired a shared personal journey and the creation of a spectacular and unique fragrance collection. The Memo Paris brand got its name in connection with Clara’s memories which were collected from different places in the world Metro tickets, historical books, travel diaries… endless sources of inspiration. The couple collected an olfactory photo album of perfumed memories while realizing that they share the view of fragrance as a journey for the senses. The brand is the perfect creative collaboration between them – she is a talented Parisian-Catalan poet, He is a sporty Irishman with the spirit of adventure in his blood. Together they saw MEMO Paris as a house that creates its identity around magical destinations and quality and strong raw materials. This is a promise of a magical journey that continues beyond its end and surprises all the time. The motto of the Memo Paris house is: “The journey is the destination”. The time of the journey is an integral part of the experience, it is essential for the encounter with beauty to occur. Creating a perfume is part of that movement, patience and high standards that are essential in order to reach the desired scent landscape.
